Well versed in asset management, project finance, carbon finance, innovative financial and investment structuring, risk management, debt restructuring and management, Dr Lloyd Chingambo’s work experience covers the public, private and voluntary sectors where he has successfully pioneered and developed innovative financial structures and solutions.

Dr Chingambo’s experience stretches from Founder and CEO of Lloyds Financials Limited – a company specialising in the development and structuring of innovative financial instruments and solutions to support businesses and facilitate rural economic transformation, to CEO of the Lusaka Stock Exchange - acknowledged as one of the best performing stock exchanges in Africa. He set up the Africa Carbon Credit Exchange (ACCE), uniquely designed to facilitate the implementation of carbon projects throughout Africa, developed an integrated financing framework for the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification and has been nominated by World Bank Group as a member of Review Experts Panel, as well as the Regional Expert Dialogue Group of Eastern and Southern Africa of the Climate Technology Centre and Network and of the Global Expert Group of Mary Robinson Foundation Climate Justice - an institution tasked with developing an agenda and program on social protection and low-carbon technology for developing countries.




He holds a PhD in International Relations – SADC: National Economic Competitiveness from the University of Kent at Canterbury in the UK, an M.sc. in Development Economics from the Univerity of Wales in the UK, as well as Bachelor of Arts in Business & Economics from the University of Zambia.
