Dr. Chimuka Leo Haamukwanza is a distinguished executive with extensive expertise in strategic management, financial oversight, technological leadership, and corporate governance. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Mukuba Pension Trust, where he oversees more than ZMW 980 million in pension funds, representing over 10,000 members across multiple offices.

Dr. Haamukwanza’s leadership is characterized by a strong focus on innovation, prudent investment management, and strict regulatory compliance. Prior to his current role, he held pivotal positions at the Pensions and Insurance Authority and Pride Zambia, where he specialized in compliance, inspections, and financial systems transformation.

Dr. Haamukwanza serves on several boards, including his role as National Vice President of the Institute of Directors Zambia and Chairperson of Entrepreneurs Financial Centre

He possesses a strong academic foundation, including a PhD in Public and Development Management from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MSc in Social Protection Financing. Dr. Haamukwanza combines deep technical expertise with a passion for organizational development and effective stakeholder management.

He is also an accredited corporate governance trainer and a dedicated educator at the Copperbelt University, where he mentors MBA students and teaches advanced courses in pension and insurance management.
