Brian is an entrepreneur who is currently at the thesis research stage of a Masters in Business Administration in Investment & Portfolio Management from the Management College of Southern Africa in Durban, South Africa.

Brian commenced his career as a consultant and business analyst, before joining Lusaka Stock Exchange as Marketing and PR Manager in 2003. He was responsible for setting up and operating the LuSE’s Marketing and PR department before he was appointed Business Development Manager in 2007. By the following year, Brian joined ZAMACE Limited (Zambian commodity exchange) as Executive Director reporting to the Board. Tasks included implementing, revising and enforcing ZAMACE rules and regulations, development and demutualisation of the Exchange; liaison with government, etc. As consultant and CEO he developed and implemented a new corporate governance structure for ZAMACE. By 2013, he was appointed CEO of Lusaka Stock Exchange in 2013 – a position he still holds, maintaining and developing strong, local, regional and a global presence with stakeholders, whilst marketing and promoting the Zambian capital market to increase domestic and foreign participation.

He holds a post-graduate diploma in Management Studies from the same college, Investment Advisors and Stockbroker’s certificate from Zambia Centre for Accountancy Studies and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Money & Banking and Information Systems from the Copperbelt University in Kitwe, Zambia. Brian is an accredited Associate by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London (ACIArb).
